Growing Your Faith Through Technology
You can pick up a booklet or a magazine to read a prayer or a story of faith, but new tools offer additional ways to grow your faith. Find out what they are and how to use them at this fun program, Saturday, March 3, 9:00 AM-Noon in the Social Hall.
Receive daily prayers via your computer or mobile phone; read Christian books via your e-book reader; stay abreast of events in the community of faith via Facebook. A keynote address by Linda Post Bushkofsky, Executive Director, Women of the ELCA, will introduce a wide variety of online resources, including blogs, Twitter, apps, YouTube, Facebook, and more. Following the presentation, visit tables staffed by Our Savior's experts where you can try your hand at e-book readers, smartphones, tablet computers, iPads and more. A light lunch will be served at 11:30 AM.
